With an industry immersed in power pop, slick production, and samples, samples, samples….it is great to see a pure rock and roll band perform live and light up an audience. It’s even better when that band is 12-14 years old.

Nicky ‘Stixx’ Taormina
Drummer for Giffords Lane. Nicky began his drum career as an infant; on his dads drum set. At the ripe age of four, you can see pictures of Nicky pounding away on his father’s Ludwig drum set. Coincidentally, after John Stoner (CEO of Ludwig Drums) saw Nicky perform John Bonham’s ‘Moby Dick’ live at New York City’s infamous Bitter End, he presented Nicky with an artist endorsed priced drum set. The very same drum set used by Nicky’s idol; John Bonhman! Nicky began doing session work at age 9 when he joined a band camp for the summer. Since then Nicky has become a seasoned recording artist. Nicky is as professional in the studio as he is on the stage. Nicky and Dylan make up the extraordinary rhythm section of Giffords Lane.
